A Salute to the Great War Movies

Patton220John Wayne hits the beach in “The Longest Day,” and so does Tom Hanks in “Saving Private Ryan.”  Plus, Robert Duvall loves the smell of napalm in the morning in “Apocalypse Now.”
 
In this presentation enhanced with PowerPoint images and film clips lasting a little over an hour, Larry spotlights the great war movies throughout cinematic history.
 
Samuel Fuller's "The Big Red One" (1980) starring Lee Marvin is a personal favorite.  But look for classics like "Patton" and "All Quiet On the Western Front" to garner a salute as well.
 
Is your group connected to the military or celebrating a military holiday?  If so, A Salute to the Great War Movies is sure to make every patriot's heart swell a little.

Coming attraction -- A virtual me

Shoot2500CUE ANNOUNCER: "Virtual, from Dallas, Texas, it's Movie Memories With Larry Ratliff!"

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have two problems here: One, I can't travel to your facility, corporate meeting or office function to perform my Movie Memories With Larry Ratliff presentations due to lock-downs, social distancing and such.  And two, your facility residents, meeting guests and office staff would really like something like Movie Memories With Larry Ratliff to entertain, inform and put a smile on everyone's faces.
